Objective

Ray Bradbury’s iconic writing was ahead of it’s time. His love for storytelling intersects with issues of planetary misuse, technological issues, race, war and opression. My goal was to create new, dynamic and engaging covers for a few of his most popular works. The hope is for a new generation to be inspired and awe struck by his books.

Solution

Ray Bradbury writes a lot of short stories, and I wanted to express his swirling multitudes of ides through my personal illustration style. I used key peices of each book for the main image. I also included images based on underlying plot points within the patern to enchant and captivate. The cutout was created to add depth and seperate chaos from the calm of identifying colors and type mixing for the title.
